තෝතැන්න ආයතනයේ මගපෙන්වීම ඔස්සේ සංවිධානය වූ අප කාන්තාවන් මුලින්ම කුඩා කණ්ඩායම් ලෙස සංවිධානය වී පසුව සමිති සාමූහිකයක් ලෙස ගොඩනැගුණහ.
තෝතැන්න ආයතනයේ මගෙපන්වීම මත අප ඇතුළුව කාන්තා කණ්ඩායම් 38 ක් මේ වන විට සංවිධානය වී තිබේනවා. ඒවා තවත් සමිති සාමූහික 4ක සමූහගත වෙමින් තිබේනවා.
2010 කාන්තා හමුවේදී මේ සමිති සියල්ලම ඒකාබද්ධ වී මහා සංගමයක් ලෙස සංවිධානය වීමට යෝජනා වී තිබෙනවා. 2011 මාර්තු 8 දින මෙම කාන්තා මහා සංගමය ස්ථාපිතවීමට නියමිතව තිබෙනවා. ඒ සඳහා අප දැන් සූදානම් වෙමින් සිටිනවා.
එසේම රටේ විවිධ පළාත්වල එනම් ගාල්ල, මොරටුව, මඩකලපුව, වව්නියාව, යාපනය, අම්පාර යන ප්රදේශවලින් සංවිධානය වූ කාන්තාවන් සමග ජාතික වශයෙන් පෙලගැසීමටත් අප සූදානම් වෙනවා.
තෝතැන්න අපට මගපෙන්වන්නේ අපිම තීරණ ගනිමින්, අපිම අපේ ප්රශ්න විසඳාගනිමින්, අපේම වැඩ පිළිවෙලක් ඔස්සේ ඉදිරියට යාමටයි. ඒ සඳහා අවශ්ය මගපෙන්වීම්, පුහුණු සහ සහායවීම් තෝතැන්න අපට ලබාදී තිබෙනවා. අපේම පුංචි ඉතිරි කිරීම්වලින් ගොඩනැගුණු අරමුදලක් අපේ හැම කුඩා සමිතියක් සතුවම තිබෙනවා. ඒවා සහන පොලියට ලබාගනිමින් අපි අපේ කටයුතු වැඩි දියුණු කරගනිමින් සිටිනවා.
Siriliya Jeewanasakthi women's groups collective is a network of 8 women's groups formed in 6 villages belongs to the Anamaduwa Secretariat office area in Puttalam District in Sri Lanka. With the facilitation of Thothanna first we formed as Self help groups. As the second step we networked as A collective which are closed by.This way 38 women groups have been formed in the area and the rest groups have been networking into another 4 collectives.
We have already proposed and agreed to network these collectives as a Jeewanasakthi Women's Federation on the 8th of 2011. Meanwhile we have been networking as an island wide network connecting the womens groups in other areas of the country as CWUDN.
We have developed our own vision and mission for our women's groups and also for our collectives. We have developed our own capital through weekly savings which is used now to fulfill the financial needs through a flexible loan system.
Thothanna development center grant us the needed guidance,facilitation,trainings to develop our own way of decision making process and leadership.
